Based in Livingston, West Lothian, Matugga rum uses East African sugar cane molasses to make their signature small-batch golden rum. Both Matugga’s spiced rum and golden rum have been medaled internationally — the Golden Rum received a silver medal at the International Wine and Spirit Competition (2017), and the Spiced Rum received a silver medal at the New York World Wine and Spirits Competition (2015).
