Deserted Cactus is a vegan homestyle café in the heart of Peckham, founded by influencer and YouTuber Esme of London Afro Vegan. Esme’s recipes are inspired by Asian, Mexican, and Caribbean food, using plant-based ingredients to create hearty, filling portions. Though the cafe is currently closed due to the lockdown, under normal circumstances it’s full of loyal customers and curious newcomers.
