The Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools has been awarded the status of Model Confucius Institute by the Centre for Language Education and Cooperation in China. The additional funding and resources this new status brings, as well as the subsequent facilities of a new headquarters, will enable the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools to deepen the quality of existing work and develop exciting new projects that will benefit young people in Scotland and China. His Excellency LIU Xiaoming, Ambassador to the UK presented the award at the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools recent 5 year anniversary conference.
